Jessica Lin Ridder, OD
Dr. Jessica Lin Ridder was born and raised in Hawaii. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors from Willamette University, where she also received minors in Chemistry and Chinese Studies. She then attended Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University where she graduated summa cum laude.
Dr. Jessica Lin Ridder worked in various clinical settings for her externships including Pearl Harbor Naval Hospital, New Eyes clinics, and Lawton Indian Hospital. Upon receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Jessica Lin Ridder completed a residency program in Primary Care and Contact Lenses at the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center with training at the John A. Moran Eye Center of the University of Utah. Her additional year of residency training has equipped her to comfortably manage complex eye diseases and fit specialty contact lenses. She is a member of the Utah Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Dr. Jessica Lin Ridder and her husband share a love for playing board games and exploring nature on day hikes or backpacking trips.
Stephen Ridder, OD
Dr. Stephen Ridder grew up in Anaheim, CA and graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. He then graduated as valedictorian from the Southern California College of Optometry.
Dr. Ridder worked in several different clinical settings for his fourth-year externships including: Castle Family Health Center in Atwater, CA, the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Yuma, AZ and Milauskas Eye Institute in Palm Springs, CA.
Afterwards, he went on to complete a residency program at the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, which also included training at the John A. Moran Eye Center associated with the University of Utah. There he received additional training in specialty contact lens fitting as well as the management of ocular disease. In his free time, he enjoys all things outdoors, especially backpacking and fishing.
Megan Chamberland, OD
Dr. Megan Chamberland is originally from Maine and graduated from the University of New England with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Health, Medicine, and Society (Summa Cum Laude). She then went on to pursue her optometry career at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. There, she graduated as Valedictorian of her class and also received the highest score on the optometry board licensing exam. Dr. Chamberland served as president of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Society and earned the Glaucoma Clinical Excellence award.
During externship rotations, Dr. Chamberland worked in a variety of clinical settings and specialties including: Community Health Connections in Massachusetts, Optometric Care Inc. in Pennsylvania, and the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center with training at the John A. Moran Eye Center. She has a strong foundation in primary eye care, ocular disease management, and specialty contact lens fittings. Dr. Chamberland is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the community. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and in her spare time enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
